Montgomery earned a 25-22, 25-15, 22-25, 25-18 victory over crosstown rival Lake Creek in District 20-5A play Friday. Emma Ely and Skyla Roth each had 12 kills to lead the Bears (8-4, 5-0). Raina McWhirter finished with 40 assists and 15 digs, and Kendall Sadler paced the defensive efforts with 33 digs. Shelby Meeks added 13 digs, and Peyton Siegrist finished with 11. Grace Ellis collected six kills and six blocks.
