The 2020 Waterway Arts Festival will be remembered for a year of uncertainty capped by ingenuity and success despite unforeseen challenges from the COVID-19 pandemic. Officials from the festival reported the virtual version of the arts extravaganza — spread over three days from Oct. 16-18 — went off better than expected, with no technical glitches and attendees from around the world.
