At 4:55 am North Montgomery Fire was dispatched to a house fire in the 14000 block of Lakepoint of Corinthian Way in the Corinthian Point Subdivision. Units arrived with a two-story home with fire out the roof. Firefighters were able to enter the structure to search for victims but as they got to the second floor the roof and flooring began to collapse. A second alarm was then pulled. Currently, the fire has been brought under control with many hotspots. They have not determined if the resident was home, however, a vehicle was in the garage. The Montgomery County Fire Marshal is on the scene. Lakepoint Drive is closed. North Montgomery, Montgomery, New Waverly, and Conroe Fire Departments are on the scene.
