Authorities are investigating an early Thursday morning shooting outside a Pinehurst bar where one man is dead and another is hospitalized. Around 1:20 a.m., Montgomery County Sheriff’s deputies answered a call about shots being fired at Shane’s Saloon 111 Weakley Way. Deputies found Eric Gray, 41, lying on the ground in the parking lot with a gunshot to his torso. Gray died from his wounds at Memorial Hermann The Woodlands, according to the sheriff’s office.
