MISD faces potential state payments under recapture plan

After bouncing back from a deficit to a balanced budget, the Montgomery Independent School District may have to give up some funds to the state again next year. “Montgomery ISD has received notification that there is potential recapture for the 2021 fiscal year,” Montgomery ISD’s Chief Financial Officer Kris Lynn said.
