Thursday night Montgomery County Precinct 4 Deputies and a Splendora Officer responded to a single-vehicle crash on Ellzey near Country West in the Grangerland area. Units arrived to find a Chevrolet pickup that had driven into a tree and fence. The female driver was highly intoxicated. During the investigation, deputies learned the female had been driving the truck up and down the street for an extended time. At one point she ran into the ditch getting stuck in the mud but was able to free the truck. That’s when she slammed into the fence and tree. In addition, the truck was displaying paper tags that belonged to a Toyota. Guadalupe Ruiz was arrested for driving while intoxicated third or more and transported to the Montgomery County Jail. Ruiz has an extensive record in Montgomery County. She also goes by nine different alias, including Guadalupe Vargas,
