730PM- A short time ago a Splendora Officer stopped a vehicle on traffic at East River and I-69. After identifying the driver the driver ran into the woods. A perimeter has been set up. Montgomery County Precinct 3 K-9 is searching and a DPS Helicopter is on the way. THe suspect is identified as Jaret Scott Thorndyke. If spotted call 911. He was last seen with a gray shirt and blue jeans.
