It may look a little — or a lot different — in the 2020-21 season, but there will be live symphony music in The Woodlands this fall. With the end of their spring season cut short, an always optimistic orchestra went back to the drawing board looking for new ways to stay alive in the era of COVID-19. “If not now, then when?” said Darryl Bayer, artistic director of the Woodlands Symphony. The question of “How long are we going to wait?” plagued him.
