Montgomery to host virtual tax rate hearing this month

The city of Montgomery will hold a virtual public hearing this month to discuss keeping the same property tax rate despite a projected loss in sales tax revenue. The city officials passed the tax rate at 40 cents per $100 valuation, which is the same rate passed in 2018 and 2019.
