With the cancellation of its annual fundraisers, the Montgomery County Youth Services and its BridgeWay Shelter is asking the community for help. Currently, the BridgeWay shelter in Conroe is in the midst of constructing two new buildings that will double the capacity when complete. The project has taken longer than anticipated, in part due to the pandemic and the facilities in the current shelter make it difficult to feed the youth that are staying there.
