Just after 10pm Saturday night a Chevrolet pickup was westbound on SH 321 at Tarkington Bayou, THe driver crossed the center line and struck a GMC pickup head-on. The driver of the striking vehicle was flown to Conroe Regional Hospital by PHI Air Medical in critical condition. The two males in the truck which was struck were transported by ground ambulance to the hospital in stable condition. SH 321 was closed for over an hour as DPS investigated the crash.
