FOOTBALL: Splendora tops Spring Legacy for first win of season

SPLENDORA — Splendora’s versatility at quarterback proved to be a big benefit to secure the Wildcats’ first win of the season Friday night. Head coach Marcus Schulz went with both talented arms in the pocket to build an early lead as they eventually took down Spring Legacy School of Sports Science, 50-40, in the home opener at Wildcat Stadium.
