The Willis Independent School District has started building a new elementary school campus near Lake Conroe as growth and development continues. On Friday, Superintendent Tim Harkrider confirmed the district started moving dirt three weeks ago on the new 101,930 square foot campus located at 11505 Pine Valley Drive, close to the San Jacinto River Authority and Longmire Road.
