MOTORCYCLE DRIVER INJURED IN SPLENDORA CRASH

At 10:50 am Saturday MCHD received a call for a motorcycle crash on FM 2090 across from Splendora High School. MCSO, DPS, and EMC Fire all responded to the scene with MCHD. They found a male who had been eastbound on his Harley Davidson motorcycle when he left the roadway in the curve just east of Splendora High School. He continued through the ditch striking and knocking down a speed limit sign. The bike then began flipping, ejecting the driver into the ditch. The motorcycle went into the woods. Northpoint Wrecker Service towed the motorcycle. The driver, who was not wearing a helmet was transported to Kingwood Hospital in stable condition with a head injury.
