Montgomery nonprofit to host donation event to serve over 300 children in need

Local nonprofit Hope’s Bridge Resource Center will be holding a donation event between Aug. 20-25 for over 300 children placed in foster, adoption or kinship placements. “With community support we will provide 5-10 school outfits per child, a pair of shoes, and a [backpack] with school supplies,” Executive Director Julie Davis said in an email. “This will go a long way at helping these children feel and maintain a sense of normalcy in a pretty dark position.”
