Wednesday afternoon just before 5 pm, in heavy rain a County Line Wrecker hydroplaned on FM 2090 going into the ditch at Carol Lane. The truck suffered some damage but the driver was uninjured. As law enforcement was working the crash a vehicle sitting in line on FM 2090 went into the ditch. He was found to be unconscious. Splendora Police say he was carrying gas cans in the back of his hatchback vehicle when he was overcome by fumes. He was transported to the hospital in stable condition.
