Letters: Reader is anything but a misinformed voter

Regarding “Sunday letters,” (A24, Aug. 23): I am one of the millions of citizens that a letter writer describes as “misinformed,” apparently because we will not vote for her preferred candidate in November. While I obviously can’t speak for everyone, I know that many of my family, friends and coworkers are anything but misinformed. We are educated, quite literate, and able to grasp the complexities of many of the issues that now face the American people. We gather information daily from a variety of sources, including print, radio and online, and often engage in spirited discussions, exchanging views on current events. It is not necessary, and arguably divisive and destructive, to insist on judging and labeling others whose opinions and perspectives are different from our own. I may not agree with your political views, but it is certainly not because I am misinformed.
